Frequently Asked Questions
How do I begin the process of creating my website?
First, complete the Website Options section of the Pool Marketing Tools form. If you would like to submit photos, digital formats should be submitted as .jpg or .tiff at a minimum of 650 pixels wide at 72 dpi. Original photographs may also be submitted; however, POOLCORP and Miller Davis are not responsible in the event that they are damaged or lost. How long will it take to develop my website?
Once we receive and process your information, the website will be developed and live on the Internet within two weeks, pending your ability to provide timely feedback.
Can I add my own pictures to my website?
Yes, you can add pictures using the administrative area of your website. If you would like us to add the pictures for you, send them to Miller Davis, 118 North Main Street, Salisbury, NC 28144. Please note that additional charges apply for adding pictures in excess of the base amount. For an On-Demand Website, the base number of photos is 25. Removing pictures does not affect the price for adding additional pictures.
If I submit original photographs, will I get them back?
Yes, once we have completed the site, we will return the photographs to you via UPS Ground.
Is it okay if I have already registered a domain name on my own?
Yes, however, you will need to point your domain name to our server in order for us to host it. Since we did not register the domain, we do not have access to the account and cannot be responsible for making this transition. The process generally takes 24-72 hours to complete. When redirecting your domain name, you will need the following information:
Primary server – ns1.corphosting.net
Secondary server – ns2.corphosting.net
Please note, if you choose not to transfer your domain name to our registrar account, we will not be responsible for renewing the domain name as its expiration date approaches.
What happens at the end of my hosting term?
Your sales representative should contact you to renew your agreement. If your agreement expires, your website and any attached e-mail addresses will be deactivated. The site will remain in this status until your renewal agreement has been received and approved. If you wish to transfer your domain out, you must do so within 90 days of the expiration date, otherwise there will be an additional charge. POOLCORP and Miller Davis are not responsible for renewing any domains that have been removed from the program.
How do I upgrade my website?
Visit the Website Upgrades page to review the available options. Your swimmingpool.com allowance can be used toward website enhancements. If your allowance has already been used, you will be billed for the additional charges.
Does my website have to be hosted under the swimmingpool.com program?
We only perform work on websites that are hosted under the swimmingpool.com program. If you only want a hot link on the dealer locator, you are not required to host your site under the program. However, if you want to upgrade your site, the site must be hosted under the swimmingpool.com program.
Can you set up an e-mail address for my company?
Yes, if we host your domain name, we can set up an e-mail address for your company. Below

How do I make simple changes to my website?
Simple changes include small alterations such as changing a phone number or address. They can be made to your On-Demand site using the administrative section. You may also contact customer service at 1.866.463.7883 or submit a ticket at the Help Desk.
